How do I set up cable internet on a windows 98 second edition? The only options are dial up and i want cable internet.

First, get a 10/100 network card if you don't have a NIC:
Your area must be served by cable for you to get the service, call and order. You will also want a router to act as a basic firewall, NEVER plug a PC into a cable modem naked. Might as well get wireless:
...and disable the wireless feature until you need it. Your cable installer should handle the rest.
