Hi

I have 3 VLANs and 1 ADSL connections.

VLAN1 10.100.100.1
VLAN2 10.100.10.1
VLAN3 10.100.20.1

My ADSL router ip is 10.100.100.5 and connected to VLAN1.I am able to browse internet in VLAN1 but when i connect to VLANs 2&3 i cannot go to the internet.i have put a route on my ers4500 switch

0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 route to 10.100.100.5

should i put a route back on my ADSL router for internet to work on VLANS 2&3..?
I am using a belking ADSL router.

You're correct, you'll need a route in the ADSL router so it knows how to get to addresses in your VLAN 2 and 3 - in this case the route will be the VLAN 1 IP address of the ERS4500.

i tried this route but its still not working..is this possible..??

What version of software are you running. You will need at least v5.2 for static routing and v5.4 for dynamic routing.

On 4500
Globally enable routing
Add default route 0.0.0.0 next-hop 10.100.100.5

On router
Add route 10.100.100.0 next-hop 10.100.100.1
Add route 10.100.10.0 next-hop 10.100.100.1
Add route 10.100.20.0 next-hop 10.100.100.1
