Hi everyone,
My company runs Exchange 5.5 and the clients are running Outlook 2000.
In our contact list, we seem to be "growing" extra names and I have no idea where they are coming from.
We now have 2 x Ingredient Newsgroups, 2 x Internet Newsgroups 1, 2 x Internet Newsgroups 2, 3 x Internet Newsgroups 3, 1 x Internet Newsgroups 31 and 4 x Internet Newsgroups 4.
We have NEVER knowingly used internet newsgroups, so don't know why they appeared at all, let alone to have so many !!
One of my colleagues - a complete IT novice - asked if this was the behaviour of a virus (I said no, but it does sound VERY, VERY spooky, the kind of weird thing a virus would do.
What do you think?
Regards,
Jay/UK
