Internet mail

Hi

I have a problem where I am getting rather a lot of undelivered mail when sending to the Internet. WHat seems to be happening is somewhere, it looks like the GWIA, the .surname is being dropped.

So jim.smith@yahoo.com turns into jim@yahoo.com

We are all GW 7.0 ( havent upgraded to SP1 yet ). The problem is intermittent and does not seem to be happening to anyone else!!

I never even start to troubleshoot GW7 until I get SP1 on there. Very large number of bug fixes and that could be one of them.

I upgraded all the agents to SP1 at the weekend. The problem is still there I am afraid.

Any thoughts?

Turn Logging on the GWIA to VERBOSE.. then try to send some test messages and see if anything shows up there that helps troubleshoot.

I also assume you updated GroupWise Clients as well?

In the sent items folder, does the address show correctly there or has it been truncated at that point?

We need to identify whether the problem is happening at the client, in the GroupWise system, or on the way out the GWIA.
