Internet Mail option with w2k and off97

Ive install w2k+sp1 with office 97, but i find that in the control pannel under 'mail and fax', the option 'internet mail' is not there. The only options that are there are 'exchange srv, microsoft mail, and fax transporter'. I dont want to use outlook express because of all the features with outlook 97.
Is this a hidden option or is it simply not including anymore with w2k.
