Internet Explorer's Favorites

My 9 year old has managed, I have no idea how, to add some kind of "Default links" on my customized favorites listing.

I have tried everything, including the obvious, clicking the "organize" option of the favorites with a view to removing them. I have had no joy.

They are not even listed in the "Organize Favorite." Nevertheless, as soon as the "Favorites" is opened they appear on top of the list (Cool staff, Travel, Shopping Gifts, Internet, Computers ...etc.)

Does anyone know where these entries are conming from and how they can be removed?
