Have several machines running windows XP pro which are all on a domain.

When I go to a website which requires a username and password if I tick the box "Remember Password" it doesnt retain the password.

Ive already tried the protected storage fix which didnt work.

I have several 2000 clients which dont have this problem.

Any ideas?

TIA

And check this too.

Internet Options/ Content/ Auto Complete. Have a look at the check boxes in the Auto Complete Settings.

Prompt Me To Save Passwords (check box).

Specifies whether you want Internet Explorer to prompt you to save a password when you enter it in a Web page. Then, when you use a username entry you've used before, Internet Explorer will automatically fill in the corresponding password if it has been saved.
If you clear this check box, no new passwords will be saved, and you will need to type the password each time for any new user names and passwords that have not previously been saved.
