Does anyone know why IE creates new folders? it seems that we often are seeing alot of strange folders being created in the temp file.. with names like xyzp12, cvbn2345, gfjjert12... they are filled of course.... but why for the life of me does it do this?

when you say the temp file...you mean temporary internet files, content.ie5, local settings\temp, or windows\temp?

Trojans or spyware will sometimes do this.
