Okay guys...this is a strange one, at least to me. Not too long ago, I upgraded to XP Pro. Most everything went well and I have not had anything more than the run-of-the-mill type problems, except one. There is a specific website we cannot get to..namely classmates.com. We can't get there in internet explorer, several different mail programs, mozzilla or anything else. I have racked my brain trying to figure out where I might have accidently told XP or Internut Exploder that I don't want to EVER go to classmates.com again (never mind why?) I am not at all sure this is the appropriate forum, but then I am not at all sure what the appropriate forum might be. But I have gone over explorer with a fine tooth comb and have come up empty. Any suggestions...feel free to email me

In IE, Tools, Internet Options
Click on the PRIVACY tab.
Now click the Edit button and enter
classmates.com
into the available field and select the option to allow cookies the website.
Save your selections.

Also, look in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
and a file called "hosts"

It must read exactly like this with no other
additions. If it does not, copy and paste the below and replace the file. If you use notepad, be sure that it does not give the file any extensions. The file is "hosts" without extension.
