Hi, is it possible to change the codepage setting in Internet Explorer located in the View menu (View - Encoding) in the registry?

I want to change this to Western European (ISO) across the whole network, via our login scripts, to save me having to visit every machine.

Thanks,

Adrian.

Yes it's possible.

The default for IE is Western European (Windows) to change to the Western European (ISO) add a new binary value under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International
The new binary value's name will be Default_CodePade
The value should be set to AF 6F 00 00

Cheers.

Yves

Sorry, there's a typo in the post above.

The new binary value's name is Default_CodePage.
