Hello,
I am a newbie. I reinstalled IE 6.0 and I am not able to see the toolbar of the internet explorer browser. The browser window looks like a popup window.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks

Is the toobar "locked"? Right click on it...

Click on VIEW ---- TOOLBARS... what do you see?

Thanks for the response. There is no Menu or a toolbar or any buttons at the top. It is like a popup menu - I can only see the title of the page.

If I right click on the top bar - I can see restore, move, size, minimize, close.

If I right click at the bottom bar, I can see toolbars (under this I see Links, Address, New Toolbar, Quick Launch, Desktop), Cascade, Tile Windows Horizontally, Tile Windows Vertically, Minimize all Windows, Properties.

Let me know what needs to be done.

Thanks

Hit F11, then hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the X to close IE.

Reopen IE.

If you can see the browser boarder (at th every top) double click on it fast, it may maximize it)

Thanks for your responses...
After hitting in F11 and pressing ctrl, I closed the IE window. I can see Some of the buttons (File, Back and the rest of them are seen as dropdown menu.

Example: Next to the 'File' button, there is a double arrow (>>), indicating that there is a dropdown menu; this dropdown menu has Edit, View, Favorites etc. The other button 'Back' has dropdown menu beside it - Forward, Stop, Refresh, Home etc.). How do I get all the buttons.

Compared to yesterday this is still better because I am able to navigate and get my way around the browser.

Now all you have to do is grab* the divider just after the double arrow and drag** it to the right.

Played with it myself; that's how it works.

*Grab=place cursor over divider 'til resize arrow replaces cursor.
**Drag=press & hold either mouse button and move mouse in desired direction.

Sorry 'bout the * and ** if you already know these; some of our readers don't and these are for them.

Sloth is the mother of invention. Necessity is just a mother...
