Internet Explorer text lag

Hope someone can solve this annoying problem.Running a Windows 98 second edition, when I type in Internet Explorer text box there is a delay between typing in the info and the text showing up in the box.

Now I am experiencing a new problem, every time I try using IE6 to go to a website as soon as I get to the site I get an IE fatal error and the program shuts down. When I access the net through Mozilla I don't have any problems at all.Any ideas on this problem would be appreciated.

Found what was causing the problem while checking out other tech forums. Simple solution, had to go Tools-Internet Options-Accessibility-and uncheck the box ( format using my style sheet) Don't know how this ended up being checked, but at last the problem is solved.IE works fine, no more error messages, no more delay in typing text, no more scroll problems.
