I have a Windows 98 PC that since Monday now takes up to 5 minutes for Internet Explorer to open.
At one point, a dialog popped up saying something about Internet Optimiser bing installed. When I forced IE to close I was had the option to remove internet optimiser which I did.
However problem still exists. I found a couple of security and service pack things for IE in Windows Update so I did this as well but no help.
I am planning next to run HiJack This and AdWare incase there is some spyware thing going on.
Anybody else had a similar problem at all ?
