Hi,
We have a batch of student machines (XP Pro) that will not allow access to SSL enabled sites unless the user is a Power User or Administrator
this is a massvie problem for me as the students are supposed to use google apps for their email which uses an SSL based single sign on. the same as their virtual learning environment. But i have checked and it applies to all SSL sites, hotmail login included.
I've tested on a different group of computers and it works without assigning them as admins so It must be a difference in the XP build but i need a way to fix it ASAP.
Can anyone think of a way to assign the correct rights to members of the users group?
