Internet Explorer opening many pages of same link

I am having a weird issue that has happened to me before. When a user clicks on a link to one website, it opens many pages of the same link. It keeps opening windows until I end task. I open this link with no problem so it is a user related issue and not the website. I deleted all temp files and cookies and it still does this.

Any thoughts?

Few scans Id like you to do. First off since this computer is acting up you will probably have to download it from another computer than transfer via cd or network. Anyways run these 2 full system scan in safe mode under the affected account.

When done with those 2, download hijackthis from the link below. Extract to desktop or prefered folder. Open program, choose do a system scan and save a logfile. Dont attempt to fix anything unless your sure of what your doing as most items are legit. Post the logfile on here and we will go through it.
