I installed AOL, can get e-mail but not browsing then net, I uninstalled IE, reinstalled from MS Office and AOL Disk, repaired it, went back to previous version, spent 2 hours with AOL tech support online, no luck.
As soon as I type a website and search nothing happens, when I minimize AOL and try IE it says cannot find server.
The computer is not on a network it is a standalone PC.
I tried Netscape Navigator no luck.
I uninstalled the adapters etc. no luck.I checked the Network in Control Panel everything is as it supoose to be, for a PC not on the network. It shows only the adapters and tcp/ip and windows Logon.
the PC is running Win 95, AOL 5.0, also tried 6.0 and 4.0 same thing.
I would appreciate any help/tips etc. I can get.
