I had recently installed Quicktime on my system, but uninstalled it shortly thereafter due to the problems it was creating. Unfortunately, following the installation, any HTML document which is part of a web page is now not being displayed. I have checked the file associations for this extension and they seem to be fine. Additionally, when I attempt to launch an MPEG file from a web page, this too doesn't work even though the file assocations for this type are okay. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, found a resolution to the problem?

Regards,
Jeff

You do not specify the version of IE you are using, but you may want to consider running the Repair Option.
