Hi All,

(Environment)
Windows2003/IIS6/WSS3.0/Single Site
(Browser)
IE7/IE8/Mozilla/Safari
(Client OS)
Windows XP/Windows7/Windows Vista
Authentication Methods
* Sharepoint=NTLM
* IIS=Integrated Windows Authentication

* When non domain users using Internet Explorer access the SharePoint site they have to enter their user credentials like this: DOMAIN NAME\Username . If I use other non internet explorer browsers such as Firefox or Safari they only have to enter the username and password. I've tried playing around with IE settings by adding the SharePoint site via Tools==>Internet Options==>Intranet Site and added to Trusted Sites .

* No luck at all finding a solution to this.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,
Zoey
