I have a div on a page that has a left and right border.

The page is long and when I scroll down the left and right border gets random gaps in it. I scroll past the gaps and when I scroll back up, they're gone but new gaps show up somewhere else. they are only small gaps and sometimes, one on each side, sometimes, 4 or more on each side.

Has anyone seen this before?

I've seen it before, but I haven't seen in it on your page. If you don't show us your page, we can only guess.

But yes, IE does that sometimes, but I am not sure if position: relative; helps or is it just removing certain (unneeded) css that helps.
