Hi

I am a bit of a novice at any mac stuff so any help is good.

Within the "IE" preferences, I have enabled "Secure Proxy".

I have given it the address of the proxy server in use at my place of work.

I now want to find the file that it has written this information to and then what to see what changes it has made, but I cannot find it.

Can someone pelase tell me which file it is, and also the command line to use when searching for any files that have changed due to a gui config change via the terminal.

A million thanks in advance.

Regards

i see this is your second post recently asking about changed files from the GUI, can I ask what it is you are trying to do? I don't think there is always a 'file' that is manipulated that you would be able to view, but if you are trying to replicate settings among machines, there may be a better way of doing it.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
