Hi, I was wondering is there anyone who can help me about the issue I have here. I am so sick and tired of it that I'm close to smash my computer. Anyways, my issue is like this: My IE 5.5 (well, it doesn't matter what version it is because I had tried all of it) always take over 10 seconds to load up a page, to start and to go back to a page to goto sites I visited a hundred times etc. It freezes my mouse when it it is loading. I mean I am using cable and it shouldn't act like a 28.8K or like it is low in system resource since i have 256mb or ram..... It really gets on my nerves when sometimes it works normally and sometimes it just throw up on me. Is there a problem with the registry or dll file or whatever? The last thing I remember is after I uninstall Morpheus and installed Kazaa... and all those ads were so annoying it began to slow my computer down.... little by little. And now my computer is CRIPPLED (well occasionally it works fine but luck won't last forever...). Also since ever then, i got all this error message that i don't even know what the heck is wrong... they are not even in english.... managed to fixed those minor problems..... but they just keep popping up... there is always something new....
Things I've tried:
-delete all Offline content and Clear History
-repair IE (like that ever helps..... an useless option)
-restore ie back to 5.5 and reinstall 6.0 hopping either version will satisfy me... (just food for thought)
-goto internet tools and disabled the help with third party (requires restart) option
-remove imagehlp.dll and replace with a working one (well i think it is working because it is d/l from some sites i trusted)
-remove entire registry of IE and reinstall 5.5 again
-use norton systemwork to scan virus, check registry, organize registry, defragment and so on.... for many times
-reading tons of online forum and found no results...
-use a vaccum cleaner to clean all the dust inside my computer...
-pray the God to let me haf better performance on this piece of ****
-and so many other things that i can't even remember.....
Anyways...
Any help would be appreciated!! Thank you!
Ray
