INTERNET EXPLORER FREEZING

hi all,
Internet explorer5.0 freezes after i connect to a website on windows 2k prof.
I uninstalled 5.0 and installed 6.0 but the problem still persists.It totally stops responding and i have to delete it from the task manager.I configured this web browser to connect using ISA server on port 8080.I configured all other computers in the domain in the similar way.All systems are working fine except this one...

Try deleting any downloaded plugins to Internet explorer. Go to tools>Internet Options>General Tab>Settings>View objects and delete them all.

You can download these again upon demand, and this may sort your problem, I have seen this a few times on customers sites where the plugin is locking internet explorer as its loaded.
