Internet Explorer Freezes..

hi.<br><br>Ever since I bought my computer.. 3 years ago.. I have never been able to use internet explorer effectively.. everytime I try to use it.. It Freezes ( making me have to restart computer )&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It usually happen when scrolling, or when a page is loading.. Has been doing this in every version of internet explorer I have ever used.. anyone have any ideas as to what could be making it do that?<br><br>have a 200mmx pentium.. 64mb ram, win95
 
Could you also list what other software you are running.&nbsp;&nbsp;My guess is probably the virus protection you are using.&nbsp;&nbsp;See if you virus protection is set to monitor all files that are downloaded, if the virus detection program is checking every singel file you are downloading, probably the reason you are having this backup.&nbsp;&nbsp;compare with another browser like netscape and see what happens.<br><br>good luck<br> <p>ackka<br><a href=mailto:tmoses@iname.com>tmoses@iname.com</a><br><a href= my site</a><br>"Do No Harm, Leave No Tracks, Be Respectful"<br>

Try &quot;unchecking&quot; the box...Tools...Internet Options...Programs...&quot;IE should check to see if it is the default browser&quot;. Hit &quot;apply&quot;.

...Oh...and reboot.
