I get the above message in a dialog box every time i open IE.WHen i click OK it closes IE so in order to use IE i just ignore this message and continue using it but still this dialog box closes IE randomly all the time,i tried reinstalling IE,updating Windows updates and everything but still the problem persists. How to fix this.

Are there any entries in the Event Viewer?

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

I tried reinstalling Internet Explorer by overwriting the existing version, downloaded the service pack 1 and updated the service pack, restarted the machine and still the problem persists.I tried this a few times already.

Hello Destiny Yes there are lot of entries in Application Log,System Log in event viewer. Is that causing the problem if so how do i get rid of them

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: replacesearch.dll
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 00004a1d

This is the info i got when i viewed the error details which was popped up after it prompted me to restart IE and also sent the error report to microsoft.but sending the report doesnt fix the problem either...

Still didnt get fixed anyother tips please,i tried all that was suggested here, ran so many spywares and anti virus programs as well, installed the patches from Microsoft etc..still it keeps appearing, sometimes even windows explorer gets closed,i suspect the problem might start from there.I dont know.
