Hello, Is there a way to get a bit more information on an error message? I try to load a page and IE gives me an error 500. But I have seen that IE can give you more info but have no idea how to activate this can some one help?

thank you

SMT

A 500 is a generic, unknown server based error. IE (or any other browser for that matter) won't be able to give you any more than that - the browser is telling you only what the server told it.

With that said, I believe what your looking for is to disable the friendly error messages -> Internet Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section, 'Show friendly HTTP error messages'.
