Internet Explorer Cypher 56 bit problem

Hi
I cannot browse secure site because my IE6 SSL cypher setting is only 56bit? it should be 128bit
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing IE6 but still its 56bit?
It means I cannot get into my paypal account or Lloyds or loads of other places.
Is there anything I can do please.?
