Hi,
On Win2k Pro Sp2 after I install IEAK 5.5 and run the wizard to create a custom installation of IE 5.5 (I choose the selection to run the install off of a network share) 2 folders are created. One titled INS and one titled FLAT, both folders contain in ie5setup.exe. I run either of the files and IE is installed, I restart the computer and login in again and it finishes the setup of IE but none of my custom settings are set. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Dawgie

Hi atdawgie

It depends on what you mean by custom settings... If you are referring to Policy type settings toward the end of the IEAK process most of these will not work on Win2K - you need to change these policies via Group Policy in W2K specifically (I use IEAK6 so I presume it's the same)

Hope this helps... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tropolite
