Maybe run the Ie6 repair tool.......Cotrol Panel>Add Remove programs,,,,scroll to M$ IE6 and Tools......click Add/remove.....choose "REPAIR".....not 'restore'....
When it asks to restart....say NO and do it 5 times again and THEN Restart.......
