Internet Explorer Challange

Background Information
When internet explorer is invoked a default page shows up based on the setting under "tools, internet options, homepage". Under this setting you can select your default page by typing in the URL address and pressing the "apply" button. This information is stored in the registry and the default page shows up everytime you start IE. Right ?

Problem - Challenge
When I start internet explorer the following page shows up:

http://mypoiskovik.com/index.htm

. Simply, I wanted to change this to

http://www.comcast.net

. Well, I followed the steps outlined above, closed IE and restarted it again but

http://mypoiskovik.com/index.htm

showed up. I repeated this using different alternative ways but no luck. Then I decided to change the registry. No luck. I deleted the entries from the registry and again no luck. What's going on here?, I asked .... and still continue to ask the same question without an answer. What is your answer ?
