Internet explorer can't find pages after 15mins

Internet explorer can't find pages after 15mins nor can I collect emails. The machine stays connected to the isp.I can ping web addresses but nothing else. It is ALWAYS between 12 and 16 mins, every time. The only way to get it going again is to disconnect and then reconnect.

Try to use different DNS address. Go to search engine

http://www.hotbot.com

and type public DNS servers. Here's one ns1.granitecanyon.com

I had to do this very thing due to the lousy DNS servers for my RoadRunner cable service.. they refused to resolve CNN... go figure .. maybe AOL does not like CNN?? ;-)

Go for the obvious and clear the cache/cookies....are you connected with a proxy server? if not, disable it. Also, check the number you're dialing into, and if possible, change it. If that fails, clean up your netstack and remove and reinstall tcp/ip. hope this helped!

Call your ISP and they should be able to give you the correct setup of the Browser and your Mailprogram.

Have your Network Hardware configuration ready (Proxy, router, gateway etc...)
