Hi

I have had the same problem i.e. some pages won't open for some unknown reason.

This isn't the answer that you are looking for but what I did was to install Mozilla Firefox.

All the pages that Internet Explorer wouldn't open Firefox would.

The problem disappeared after a time but I still have both browsers installed and occasionally I use one or the other depending on which one I am having problems with at the time.

Almost always if I’m having some kind of problem with one the other one works ok.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Copy the following:

netsh winsock reset

and paste it into a CLI / shell window (aka DOS box) or the RUN BOX, and hit return...

it possible that your winsocks got screwed around by some program or other...
