Hello all,

We developed a website in house using the Windows Host file. The clients get to the site via the address and having their host file updated to point to mysite. The server's host file also has a mysite entry.

Folks using Netscape Communicator 4.73 or later are ok

Folks using Internet Explorer 5.50 are getting the following message:
o The page cannot be displayed.
o There is a problem with the page you are trying
to reach and it cannot be displayed.
o HTTP 500 - Internal server error Internet Explorer.

Not sure what the trouble could be. I would greatly appreciate any assistants.

My Environment is Apache 1.3 on Windows NT 4 with fixpak 5.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

Does it say anything more in the Apache error.log ? Also, is this plain html or php / multimedia stuff and have you tried other versions of IE ?
