Is there any way that we can stop a fetch from Livelink opening word and Excel documents inside IE but rather force the fetch to open word or Excel as appropriate.

You will need to amend the MIME Type settings on the local machine's as per the appendix in the user manual. If you need some more info let us know.

Thanks for the prompt response.

We have amended the file types dialogue in Windows Explorer so that for a doc file the "Browse in same windows" check box is unchecked and this we were told by our supplier would force the fetch into Word, it has not.

If you can offer any more assitance it will be greatfully received.
