Internet Explorer and links to pop up windows not working...

My Internet Explorer everytime i visit a webpage that has a pop up window or some pages i use the pop up window dont open, it looks as if it is not picking up the links correctly and the asks me if i want to debug, can anyone shed some light to this and why it maybe happening as it is so annoying.

Two things to try
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab and make sure the "Disable Script Debugging" is turned on.

Also, check this thread (thread608-132319). It's long but scroll to the end and look at the last post by master9. It is a summary of the fixes discussed for similar problems.
