Any help / ideas appreciated...

Currently running Remote Access through a Citrix session going via an F5 Firepass SSL Box. The users enter their credentials for F5 via IE, they are then presented with their options, that being a citrix session which opens in a new Intenret Explorer Window.

My problem is... When the new window opens dispaying their citrix desktop, on SOME users PCs, the URL is being shown in an address bar at the very top, this then cut's off part of their citrix desktop and they have to scroll up and down to see the whole page.

Is their a setting somewere, either in IE or the registry were I can disable the address bar being shown, therefore the user seeing their full screen ? The only info. I can find is for showing / hiding the main address bar in IE which is not what I'm after - I want to stop the address bar being shown in the new window - I know it can be done because on some PCs the address bar isnt their so their must be a setting somewere ? Very frustrating problem !

With IE7 the address bar is always displayed, even in pop-up windows. This behavior was added with IE7 as a security measure so that even a malicious web site will alway show it's real address.

Now, onto the problem - I'm not sure I follow. Is the address bar wrapping to more than 1 line and consequently hiding part of the desktop? or something else? A screenshot might go a long way here. Does resizing the window change the need to scroll?

Hi, thanks for taking an intrest...

No, the address bar is actually just taking up one, but it's enough to take up part of the screen therfore needing to scroll down to see the entire window.

I'd love to show you the screen shots as one of them is actually showing NO address bar so there must be a setting somewere...

Thanks, however I've found the setting that I was after...

Internet Explorer - Tools - Options - Security - In Custom Level for Internet...

ENABLE ' Allow websites to open windows without address or status bars'

Fixed me problem.

Thanks.
