Internet Explorer 6 Slowness on WinXP

For the last few days IE 6 has been responding slow when pulling up websites. I am running IE 6 on WinXP Professional. Tried cleaning up machine with Ad-Ware to no avail, also tried to reinstall IE 6 from a MS sanctioned disc. Didn't help.

Before a couple days ago everything was running fine. My office machine was infected by Novell's ZenWorks for Desktops v3.2 mere minutes before this problem started. Not sure if there is some corelation to the install of ZFDS and IE but it's the only thing that has changed.

Is there any know problems with IE 6 running slow when loading webpages or does Novell infringe on IE?

Sorry if I'm too vague but have never posted before. Willing to provide more info if necessary.

You could try using the system restore feature in XP to restore back to the day before the problem.

Used system restore once before and alot of my files disappeared as well as the drivers that I installed. I thought that system restore would not remove files. Am I incorrect in this assumption?
Thanks

I believe it would remove anything installed after the restore point you choose.
