When I print from IE6 under Windows 98 SE, the print queue hangs, ( The job appears, but never prints ) I can delete the job and other windows jobs (non-Internet Explorer output) will print. This does not happen on every print job. The printer is a Lexmark E210 laser. The problem exists when the printer is on an LPT port or as as a networked printer attached to another workstation. In general, the user will restart and the problem will go away for a while, but I have seen it occur on the first job printed after the restart. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, increaing memory to 128 MB did not help.

In Control Panel , double click on printers , right click on Lexmark & click on Properties . Click on Spool & play around with the settings . Make a note of what they are set on before starting .

--------------------------------------------------

Press Delete ( del ) on boot up , now this part can vary depending on your version .
Go to Intergrated Peripherals & then Onboard Parallel Mode , using the arrow key .
Make a note of the existing entry .
Use the Page Down button to try the next entry .
Press Esc .
Save & Exit , Y , press Enter .
If it is still not right , repeat above , again & again .
If you find a entry that works , make sure you make a note of it .
Eventually you get back to where you started .
