After installing Internet Explorer 5, I started getting sporadic system lockups. The system locks up so badly that all keyboard keys and the mouse are inoperative. Therefore the system has to be powered down to clear the lockup. No particular event triggers the lockup and the system will lock up even when IE5 isn't running. UN installing IE5 does not help, I suspect that the IE5 installation replaces a system file which is not removed during the UN install process. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem ?
TIA
John
