Internet Explorer 5.5 - Can not find printer

I purchased Microsoft Picture It Publishing - it requires Internet 5.5 to be installed to operate. However, installing 5.5 - I get an error "Printer can not be found." All other programs work with printer. I have un-installed and Internet 5.0 works find but then I cannot use Picture It. Please help.

I have MS PIP and IE 5.5 installed with no problems. At what point are you getting the message you mentioned? Have you checked Microsoft's Knowledge database for this error message?

I get the error message after intalling 5.5 - once installed I can not print. It comes up with the error message. I can not print anything from Internet Explorer. The MS PIP prints fine. The example would be "checking my email and wishing to print it sends error - printer not found." If I call up wordpad - it prints. I sometimes copy from internet explorer and paste to wordpad but it is a hassle. Only internet explorer 5.5 won't work. If I uninstall 5.5 and go back to 5 - then it prints fine but MSPIP says it requires 5.5. Thank you for responding
