Has anyone had a problem with IE 5.0 not accessing some web pages? I have seen on several occasions on differant machines where a big, long, hairy message appears saying that the site/page is not available and a long list of options to try is shown. Sometimes hitting the back arrow an dthen the forward arrow solves this, but not in every situation. One person thought that the web site needs to be updated to work with IE 5.0.<br>
Any ideas?

I dont know if this will help at all but if you were to specify your dns's in your dialer assuming you have dialup access it would probably find the server easier instead of trying to find them automatically which is set at default. If the dns's are not specified then it may be giving you that error that the page cannot be displayed since it couldnt locate your dns server immediately.....just a thought.

I've had this problem too but it tends to be with popular sites , BBC, Microsoft etc. Just hit F5 to refresh and that always works first time, if not second.
