In Internet Explorer 5.0 I'm trying to have GroupWise be my default E-mail program so when I click on a link to an email address on a webpage it will automatically launch GroupWise. Right now it tries to launch Microsoft Outlook which we don't use. Under Tools/Internet Options/Programs/E-mail, it does not give me the option to choose any other email program (nothing appears but Outlook and in some cases nothing appears at all). Please tell me what I need to do to enter GroupWise into this field.

From what I understand the choices in the drop-down-list-box viewed after the navigation:

Control Panel
Internet options
programs
e-mail drop-down-list-box

are placed there after successful installation of
e-mail software like Hotmail, GroupWise etc.

Has this been done?

Yes - GroupWise was installed and is working properly (except when trying to click on an email link on a web page).

Then I don't know the answer to your problem but I'll continue looking.

I did find the following in IE 5.0 Help :

Help
Contents and Index
Type "mail program" in the single line entry

Tips
To start another Internet program from within Internet Explorer,
click the Tools menu,
point to Mail & News,
and then click a command.

The problem is the "and then click a command" isn't there.

I quess we wait for a "Real Guru"

Thanks for your response and I hope you can find an answer to this issue. I had also checked the Help feature and found it to be of no use.
