Internet Explore pop-up/MSHTA.EXE

I keep on getting a pop-up screen even if I'm offline. If I'm online I'll get a port site pop-up screen. It will stop whenever I end a program called MSHTA.EXE from task manager.

Please help me to get rid of this pop-up. I'm afraid that my daughter might see that x-rated pop-up when she uses the internet.

Ok. I've seen several annoying little programs that will install on your system and pop up these adds. One thing you can do is delete or rename MSHTA.EXE which should be in your c:\winnt\system32 and/or c:\winnt\system32\dllcache folder
