Internet Exlorer auto refreshing

Hi, I have IE v7 on Windows XP Home. In the last 2 or 3 weeks it's started to automatically refresh all the tabs at random times. All open tabs refresh the pages at the same time. Very frustrating.
Any ideas please?

Perhaps one of your pages is sending a refresh request.

The answer is "42"

No. It can't be a particular page because it happens regardless of which sites or pages I have open. Thanks anyway.
