Internet e-mails not relayed to recipient

I am running Groupwise 6 and the following has recently started happening:

Incoming e-mails from the internet do not get sent to the recipient but anyone who is CC'd on the mail gets it, but not the person who the e-mail was actually sent to.

Have your checked to see if the user has set any rules up lately? (ie auto-delete once received)
