in word or excel2000 when I try to send the doc to a mail recipient it comes up with the internet connection wizard. Outlook2000 is started and word is the default editor. There is no internet mail installed in outlook services. How can i get rid of the internet connection wizard?????

The way you set up the default mail client is to go into Internet Explorer and under TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS and then PROGRAMS tab, select Outlook in the Email client drop down box.

I can't think of another reason why its failing.

thanks,

i did find that when i did a search, the e-mail was indeed set to outlook express so changed it and hey presto, now it works.

thanks
