We have a customer with Netware 3.12 and we setup a "gateway" machine with ICS. We had a heck of a time getting DHCP going and finally we have other workstations going through ICS VERY slowly. I have done this in other straight M$ enviromnets and ICS has worked just fine. Does having a netware server on the network make IP slow? Am I missing something stupid?
thanks

No, I would not think that having a netware server on the network would make communications slow. What you need to do is probably put a sniffer on the network and see if there are any problems with the amount of traffic being generated. This can either relate to there not being enough bandwidth, or the ICS is having a problem. Of course as you know, Netware 3.12 is no longer supported by Novell and the only information you will be able to research is to see if there is anything related to a 3.12 server and IP.

Novell will not affect it. Either there is a traffic problem as suggested above, or this is a basic network configuration problem.
