Run Windows Me, Duron 700, with IE 6.0. More and more regularly, I will dial up ISP, connect, verify my password, exchange around 400 bytes and that's it!!
System still functions ok and i can come out of IE and redial and the same happens again.
No messages to give a clue as to problem, no regularity as to time of day. My old PC running Win95 doesn't seem to suffer same problem. They ate not networked, but plugged into same line, so only one can connect at a time.
