Okay, if this is an IP/TCP problem.
But my Connection establishes. Firefox works sometimes. IE doesn't work. All my messangers work. FTP program doesn't.

Down in the IE status bar it tries to connect to the site then goes to a loop IP of 127.0.0.1, then brings up the shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm.

Also worth checking, do you use a modified HOSTS file?

Check the file called hosts in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Hosts\Etc (If XP)

If it is over 1kb then its likely to be modified. In which case, rename it to hosts1, then create a new text document, with nothing in it and save it as hosts. If it shows as "hosts.txt" edit the name and delete the .txt extension......see if it makes any difference, that has happened to me before on a work PC.
