This is probably a pretty basic question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
We have a hosted internet app at our data center. We don't do much of this, but this particular one is critical. We are installing backup internet service.
My question is this, with a second internet provider using a different ip addressing scheme, how do we implement failover if the primary provider fails?
The primary provider connection has much more bandwidth than the backup so we don't want to load-balance...only failover if primary dies.
any suggestions would be appreciated.
