I am using a shared dial-up account attached to my NT Server to allow several users to check email and retrieve files from the internet. Everything works except that the Internet disconnects after a few minutes. When you request something from the Internet you then have to wait for it dial back up and reconnect. I have found several activity timers and have set them to 30 minutes but I must be missing one somewhere. Any suggestions where I might check.

What timers have you found and set? That will tell me what you missed ;) I'd hate to guess all day long :p Give me that information and I'll see what I can do.

Good Luck,

SteelDragon

I have set the time-out to long lengths at the Connection tab of the Modem Properties under Contol Panel, and Under the Exchange Administation icon, the Internet Mail Service Time out. I am much more familier with Netware, but have set this same feature up on three W2K servers and didn't have this problem so I am probably overlooking somthing very simple.
Thanks in Advance for any help.
Jeff
